It is well known that MPEG-4 is the most compatible format for iPod. However, sometimes, when people try to import MPEG-4 files on Mac OS X from iTunes to iPod, a message ” This movie was not synched because it cannot be played on this iPod” will pop up unexpectedly. Doesn’t iPod support MP4 file, so you will need to convert the mp4 files to something else? Of course not, the problem lies in the wrong aspect ratio of the MPEG-4 video files and screen size.
