Loft Beds and a Tiny Room

Here in Helena, Montana, we have created an entire area that dwells in the conservatively created tumbleweed home designs. Now these new dwellings are a giant change from what we as Americans have become used to. Instead of 3 and 4,000 square foot homes, what we have here is closer to 3, or 400 square foot.

Now, I know what your thinking, how in the world do you dwell in that? Well, the solution was buy loft beds, standing showers, microwave ovens, tiny stoves, tiny refrigerators, micro, small, and more micro. We have found that in these tight times, and in comparison to other world standards, these tinier options are a real solution. The loft beds, create a large amount of space.

Some of these models come with the popular Murphy bed functions, but the Morphy’s don’t double as livable spaces, in most cases. I couldn’t advertise these things, unless I had lived in them myself, so for one years, I lived in the 250sq foot model. Now, granted, I’m a only guy, and I have been a bachelor for the past ten years, but it really wasn’t that uncomfortable at all. I had this really great kids wooden loft bed, and just about every option available, and I was fine.

My only problem, was the wind. When the winds picked up to about 50, or 60 miles an hour, or better, it was a bit scary, but apart from that, I definitely enjoyed it! Now when you consider thinking about a family, you can consider the roomier models, and also consider connecting them together, kind of like Legos.
