Electro-rock has often been darker, more negative, but this has been evolving. There is this upbeat synth-rock I stumbled across by Matt Soren that has a fresh perspective on alternative rock. His new album is a mix of recovery music and the process of knocking out addiction.
There are some songs on his site at www.inspiringrock.com. It appears like the mixes are provisional while finishing official mixes. They sound clean to me but that’s just my opinion. It is cool to find more electro-rock like this written specifically for addiction recovery in a more entertaining way from a person that has been there and is making a difference for others. Also It’s nice to have this type of music stemming from the industrial outlet which is normally darker in nature. Nice!
Oh yeah, he has free songs you can get from his website and more in his insiders area which is free. I also saw discount passes, wallpaper, and other things it looks like he’ll be adding. It will be nice to hear the album once it is finished. Thanks for listening to me ramble, hope you enjoyed it!
